Who We Are

Our Purpose

Impact Communities' Purpose

We begin with the basic belief that every child deserves to laugh and grow and learn in a school setting and community that nurtures her/his fullest potential. The goal of prevention is to raise healthy kids by giving them skills that teach them to make good decisions. At the same time, we work with the significant adults in their lives to help them understand the urgent necessity of blanketing young people with the tools and resources they need to stay healthy. Every teen is vulnerable to substance use, but the more we encourage them to believe in themselves, the more likely they are to value their lives.

Testimonials

I have taught a summer health class for the past three summers. I love to have Impact Communities come into my classes. They are always current on what's happening today with our teenagers.  Each time I've called Impact Communities, I've never been told no. I can always count on Impact Communities to bridge my curriculum and bring excitement into the classroom.
