Grace, Mercy and Love

Grace, mercy and love are essentials for raising healthy kids!

All young people deserve grace, mercy and love. You do your very best to provide these gifts for your kids and we strive to make sure your kids receive all three from us when we meet them in schools and in your community.

Over the summer, students lit up in our super-fun activity classes. They made terrariums, clay pots, had equine therapy, learned how to hula dance and created stuffed animals. We helped them shake off the stresses of school.

At every event/activity, kids told us how much the play time helped them by teaching them how to do new things and how to feel good about their creations.

We want to do more as we build out our school-time activity schedule!

We are passionate about helping your children grow into healthy young adults AND we need your help.

Let me explain.

Our youth programming is supported by the state of Texas. It costs $156.89 to provide services for one child per month. The state gives us $140.26, leaving a gap of $16.62.

Consider this: We served 12,031 youth last year, or 1,002 per month, meaning the gap between what was needed and what the state provided was $16,653.24 each month! DPR is currently making up the difference, which we consider an investment in the future, and that's where you come in.

Please consider sponsoring a child for $16.62/month or $200 for one per year, a small price for her health and wellbeing. You could also  sponsor three kiddos for $50. And recurring monthly donations are certainly welcome!

North Texas Giving Day is this Thursday, 9.22.22, and early giving is open now. Please click this link--FILL THE GAP--to access our giving page. We thank you and so do the kids!
